Digital Millennium Copyright Act

Subtitle Convert respects intellectual property rights. If you believe content on this site infringes your copyright, you may submit a notice of claimed infringement under the DMCA.

What the site contains

Because the site does not host user-generated content, DMCA notices are unlikely to be relevant. However, if you believe original site content infringes your copyright (e.g. an article reproduces your text without permission), please notify us.

How to submit a DMCA notice

Send a written notice to dmca@subtitle-convert.pages.dev with:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed.
  3. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, with enough detail to allow us to locate it (URL).
  4. Your contact information (address, phone, email).
  5. A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
  6. A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorised to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

How we handle notices

Counter-notice

If you believe your content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notice with:

  1. Your signature.
  2. Identification of the removed material and its previous location.
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification.
  4. Your contact information and consent to jurisdiction of the appropriate federal district court.

Repeat infringement

We have no account system, so we cannot "terminate user accounts" in the traditional DMCA sense. However, we will not knowingly publish infringing content and will cooperate with rights holders.
