What makes a good request

• Clear description — what task does the tool do?
• Input — what file format does it take? What is the content?
• Output — what format and content should it produce?
• Edge cases — what should happen for empty input, invalid data, unusual formats?
• Frequency — how often do you need this? (One-off vs daily matters.)
• Existing workaround — how do you do this today?

What we can implement

Subtitle Convert is a static site with no backend. Tools that work with SRT, WebVTT, plain text and JSON are practical. Tools that require:

• Video decoding (frame extraction, timestamp extraction from MP4) — not possible without additional libraries.
• Audio processing (transcription, speech recognition) — not possible without a backend or a huge in-browser model.
• AI/ML models — not possible without a backend API (and we are committed to no mandatory AI API).

Within those constraints, almost any text-based subtitle operation is feasible.

• We do not guarantee implementation timelines or that every request will be built.
