Subtitle Convert is a small project without a paid team. We are not currently hiring.

Contributing without pay

If you want to be involved, there are community contribution paths:

• Translations — see translate the site.
• Bug reports — see report a bug.
• Tool requests — see request a tool.
• Feedback — see send feedback.

What we look for (for future roles)

If we hire in the future, we would look for:

• Genuine interest in subtitles, accessibility or media production.
• Ability to work with vanilla HTML, CSS and JavaScript — no framework needed.
• Respect for user privacy — no tracking, no dark patterns, no unnecessary data collection.
• Patience with a small, bootstrapped project.

When we hire

We do not have a timeline. If a role opens, it will be posted here and announced on the newsletter and changelog.
