Team
Subtitle Convert is maintained by a small team. We work on the site as a side project, prioritising long-term sustainability over rapid growth.
The team
We do not publish individual team member bios on this page. This is deliberate: the site is not about the people behind it, and we prefer to let the tools speak for themselves. If you need to reach us for press or partnership, use the contact page.
Contributors
Beyond the core team, several community contributors have helped with translations, bug reports and content suggestions. See Contributors for details and how to join.
How we work
- Static-first. Every page is a static HTML file. No framework, no build step, no backend.
- Privacy-first. All subtitle processing happens in the browser. No user file content is ever transmitted.
- Slow-and-steady. Features are added carefully, tested thoroughly, and shipped when ready — not on a calendar.
- Public-by-default. Roadmaps, changelogs and known limitations are documented openly.
