What gets removed

The WEBVTT header line.
Cue identifiers and timestamp lines.
NOTE, STYLE and REGION blocks.
Inline tags such as <v Speaker>, <i>, <b>.

Limitations

Speaker names embedded in voice tags are removed along with the tag.
